Aaaaah.
I'm finally home after being away for SO LONG it seems. I feel icky because I've been neglecting my house and my normal life and my journal. Considering the reason I have this thing is to record the moments of my life I want to remember for always (no, not for bugging other journal users), I haven't at all used it for that purpose. It makes me feel really guilty and angry at myself. Plus, I've been kind of homesick too.
My life is disastrous. All my close friends know this, and if you don't then I guess you never took the time to really get to know me. The things that happen to me would rival Charlie Brown's constant wailing, but I hate admitting to it because that would make me a whiny, selfish, unappreciative prick (right B?). I like to hold out hope that something will come along to change the course my life is walking, and in the meantime all I can do is struggle and strive to change it myself. The only thing I hope and pray for is that I don't make a disaster out of someone else's life in the meanwhile.
So today I'm going to be somewhat distant. Not because I want to be or because I'm in a foul mood (because I'm not), but because I'm trying to figure some things out. Because I'll be studying and learning and indulging myself in things to help me see the path better. Because I'll be evaluating my current situation, my life, my "friends", my mind, and how I want to change those things for the better.
But in the meantime, I'll keep up pretending, keep up my false facade, and somehow manage to keep everyone happy at the same time. 'Cause that's just what I do.

Get this: Last friday's episode had me sobbing like a babbling idiot, jumping in surprise, shrieking with disgust, smiling in amusement and, at the end, staring wide-eyed, mouth gaping in 'oh-my-god-that-did-not-just-happen' shock. All this in one, one hour show. How many television shows do you know of that can do that? It. is. so. GOOD.

Get this: Last friday's episode had me sobbing like a babbling idiot, jumping in surprise, shrieking with disgust, smiling in amusement and, at the end, staring wide-eyed, mouth gaping in 'oh-my-god-that-did-not-just-happen' shock. All this in one, one hour show. How many television shows do you know of that can do that? It. is. so. GOOD.

mustang_girl14: When I first started watching I didn't really like it because I didn't GET it. It's really out there, even for sci-fi. But now I am so hopelessly addicted to it it's so sad. I can't stand to miss an episode. Just... Aeryn.. and Crichton. GOD. They make me cry so much. Last weeks epi was the best yet. Me watching it again and still going through all the emotions as if they were new is proof of that. ALL. MUST. WATCH. IT.
OMG, I almost forgot to mention this... Rygel said "My Shiny Hiney" this epi. I was ROTFLing. I was like, wait till B2 and Sarah hear about THAT one. Heh. I love this show.
