MY SOUL BELONGS TO DAYLIGHT-SAVINGS TIME!!!!!1!!!!!one!!!!1

I need someone with mad cartoonist skills to help me. *sigh* I love realism, but seriously, why does it have to be one or the other? Why can't I be good at BOTH?

I was amused last night when I noticed the guy that plays Dr. House on "House" was a musketeer in "Man in the Iron Mask." And then I was further amused to see that one of the guest stars on House this week was the guy who used to play John Doe (that stupid TV show Fox decided to pick up instead of Firefly last year, and subsequently ended up canceling anyway. Rawr). Ahh, I keep myself amused with my obsessive TV viewing.

Speaking of which, I was watching Star Trek:TNG today (...SHUT UP! I AM C00L!!!) and the episode was "Skin of Evil." VERY informative, since it's been bugging me for about a month now trying to figure out who the heck Lieutenant Young (Yun? Yung? Yon?) is. I apparently don't remember much about the first season or so of TNG (considering I was like FOUR at the time...). Once I got used to seeing her in episodes (which took a while. "What? Who is that chick and why is she doing Warf's job?!?!?!") I started wondering what happened to her. Well now I know. Stupid evil blob of wet asphalt! heh. I also had no memory of Riker pre-facial hair. So watching first season reruns on Spike TV has been very interesting and informative. Also, it now makes a whooolllle lot more sense why Riker is the resident ladies man (Why the facial hair man? Why? Whhhyyy?)

I. am. so. bored. As evidenced by the fact that this is the 4th post I've made in a 4 day period. I guess house-sitting is what I needed to force me back to LJ on a regular basis, eh?

In other news, I'm feeling more myself again. The extra hour of daylight has been WONDERFUL. Augh. Daylight Savings owns my soul. I guess deep down I will always be a Summertime girl. You can take the girl out of California..... Anyway. Good mood again. Cynical outlook on life still, but hey, that's just normal for me. ;) I really wish I had my MP3s with me though. At least I have TMBG on CD.

And no, I'm not sitting here, a 21 year old adult, watching Teen Titans by myself. I don't know WHAT you're talking about....

PS. I love People with too much time on their hands...
