Tomorrow is Talk like a Pirate day!

I think I'm officially the first person to celebrate Talk Like a Pirate Eve. But when you think about it, it makes sense. Drink like a pirate, pass out, and in the morning there's presents!

Don't no one forget that tomorrow is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Please, celebrate. Have fun.

The Pirates of the Caribbean drinking game is fun. tee hee heehehe.. Bria, I missed you. And you're right, there totally should be more rules. Not like you couldn't get completely smashed on the ones there already are, but because there has to be SOMETHING to do with parley or eunuchs or every time Will looks absolutely pathetic. Or, my favorite one, "Every time Will says 'pirate' with disdain." I think that's a bloody brilliant rule right there.

Whooo, spell checker do your magic. I now understand Jack's obsession with rum.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me...

damn the world and it´s ability to make me able to legally drink only when i´m a couple thousand miles away from you in a country where nobody knows how to make a bloody white russian.
*spits* *pirately* (because i couldn´t celebrate ITLAP day in this pagan-forsaken country, so i´m just gonna have to pepper my online correspondence with pirate speak for a while. to appease the...um...pirates)
yarr.
oh, and ps...this here comment is anonymoys because i can´t remember me bloody password and i´m not on me own swashbuckling computer because this bilge-rat of a country doesn´t do wifi...yarr..grumble...yarr... *sips rum*
yarr

...

Wow.

We need to work on your pirate vocabulary, mate.

I wonder if you'll ever get this comment, seeing how it's anonymous and all. Does it still send it via e-mail? Doubtful. So unless you check back to this page, I think I may possibly be talking to myself.

Hm.

A strangely familiar sensation.

Anyhoo, ITLAPD was hideously mundane for me. Damn people who work or go to school on Mondays. Bloody society. ITLAP Eve, on the other hand, was extremely interesting. Rum is good, better when you have someone to drink it with, and positively fantastic when Lauren is a few feet away playing along by downing pixie sticks in right smart fashion. Mwahaha. Interesting night.

I think I need another rum and coke.

no, i did not get an email. but i happened to check back here just now. and i also happened to remember my password. so all is right with the world.
and what´s wrong with my pirate vocabulary? *looks hurt* i thought i´d done quite well for myself.
i sincerely wish i had been there to see Lauren down pixie sticks.
and speaking of alcohol, i impressed a couple of girls today by learning extremely quickly to knock back shots of tequila and juice. couldn´t have been much tequila involved. two and a half glasses of strawberry margarita and two tequila-and-juice shots, and all i got was a mild buzz for about 10 minutes. not much alcohol at all. does it make me an inexcusably bad person that i did this at lunch? the girls i was with said i was going to have to go out some night with them. Dear God in Heaven save me. literally. we´re talking some drunken party animal girls. imagine me in a bar with a couple of chicks who are quite used to getting smashed on a regular basis. it is definitely a good thing that i live so far out of the city that i have to take the bus, and that bus stops running at 11.
whoooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaah.
do you miss me yet?

W00t! Yay for obscenely old LJ comments!
Just thought I'd bring back up this blast from the past for two reasons. One, you scare me. And two, you SCARE me. Tequila is actually pretty strong stuff, but generally I drink it straight, so I'm not sure how it goes down with juice. *shrug* But hey! Stop making worldly friends! I WILL FONG YOU!
(How happy does it make me that I can link Alan Tudyk to both "I will FONG you!" AND "I fart in your general direction!"? EXTREMELY.)
Back on subject, if you keep making friends with random geeks I will focus my attention on hurting you, be sure of that one lovey.
Yes, I miss you. :)

[identity profile] treeflamingo.livejournal.com 2005-10-31 01:54 pm (UTC)(link)
why do i scare you???
i don't get it.
but tequila is pretty awesome stuff.
and heinekin is better on draft.
and don't worry...i'm not making worldly friends. i'm making worldly drinking buddies that i never drink with. trust me. there is no real friendage going one. it's one of the reasons i'm so lonely.
and if i were making friends with geeks, i wouldn't be complaining. i could seriously use some geek friends. speaking of which...i should probably reply to the kid on ddrspain that is going to take me stepmania-with-pad-ing. because you can't go DDRing when there is no real DDR. hmmmm...

If you have to ask, then you have some seeeerious reflecting to do. ;)
I love you anyway.
Indeed it is.
I'm sure it is, though it's still sissy yellow beer. ;)
*sips on Mojito*
D00D!!!$!@$ *FLAILS AROUND PATHETICALLY* *POINTS TO SECOND TO LAST SENTENCE*
MAKING PLANS TO DDR WITH SOME RANDOM KID YOU MET OVER THE INTERNET STILL APPLIES!!!!
*sighs dramatically* TEENAGERS!! *shakes head*

K, totally not fair that you can make me laugh loudly in the middle of the driveway to the hospital in granada such that spaniards walking past to visit their ill-and/or-recovering loved ones stare at me and i CAN'T EXPLAIN WHY I'M LAUGHING. totally not fair.
so...is it scary that i drink that much? cuz i don't really drink often...and when i do i hold it pretty well. i've never been as tipsy as that time(s) with you in Dublin (London)...well...yeah. never as tipsy. more inebriated, but not as tipsy. but i still woke up unhungover, so i call it not drunk. anyway.
by the way...3 months and 9 days, love. 3 months and 9 days.

[identity profile] lordoflorien.livejournal.com 2005-11-01 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Muahahahahahahahaha! That is why I'm a super-hero/villain, love.
No, it's not scary. Well, it COULD be scary, but it's currently just a little unnerving because you get waaaaaaay to happy when talking about drinking (it's not even the drinking itself). ;)
HAA! Oh god good times. Did you know they have pub crawls here in NC? I'm so going. And I've never had a hangover either. It's actually kinda curious.
Chronological age has nothing to do with it, love. I still call my older, 35-ish sister-in-law a "darn teenager!" and she can't argue with me, so don't expect it to stop in 3 months and 8 days.
*hugs*
