That reference didn't turn out quite right cuz with "the pot calling the kettle black", you'd be the kettle and I'd be the pot calling you. Of course, if you had said Ms. Pot, I probably wouldn't have connected it to that expression and gotten all offended and "Hey! Just because I dated a pot-head once, before I knew he was one, doesn't mean I am! Hmph!" lol.
