Hmm...
Why am I so amused that I got an e-mail from my friend Chris that simply said: "Are you online? actually, do you have free weekends on the cell phone? ...actually i'm gonna call now"? 'Cause it's really not all that funny. But for some reason, I'm finding great amusement in it.
I've decided I adore Peter Jackson. I really do. Today I finally watched disk one of the extra features attached to LOTR, and loved it (of course). There's so much STUFF on it! And there's another whole disk, too! But, I have come to the conclusion of several things after watching it:
1) I love Peter Jackson. Adore, even. If he weren't married I'd marry him, just because he is the man. Or maybe I'd befriend him and somehow convince him to introduce me to Billy? Hmm. Yeah, I'm leaning toward the second one.
2) I want to live in New Zealand. I'm packing it up and moving there, I swear. After that "New Zealand Into Middle Earth" thing, I am absolutely positive I have to live in that farmer's field where they built The Shire. Really.
3) I want me a Hobbit. 'Course, I've said this before, but this time I want me a Hobbit chorus line. Trust me. Watch the disk on costumes. Love, love, love!
Also looked through some of the galleries. Was highly amused when, while I was going through the Cave Troll gallery, my 9 year old nephew looked at a sketch of a cave troll holding a rather terrified man in his fist and said "I want to hold him and love him and hug him and name him George!" Also, at another conceptual art piece of a Cave Troll holding out one of his hands, he commented "Talk to the hand 'cause the ears don't want to hear!" Brilliant child, really. When he's not howling and jumping and causing pain, he's really quite funny.
Well, nothing else to report for the day. Just that I love my LOTR and I can't wait for TTT to come out! *dances around happily*
