When you wake up at 10:30, are greated with 10 inches of snow, can't open your front door, and realize over your breakfast of milk and brownie cheesecake that you're not going anywhere today, you come to one conclusion.

See..my conclusion of *life is good* comes from tripping over a journal of someone who seems to be as obsessed with LOTR as I am. My roommate and I have recently become way to obsessed(in a good way...lol) with this movie/the actors/everything about it. We're even going out later today and getting the 4 disc set so we can see the commentaries and all that jazz.
I know I'm not as *up* on the movie and books and storyline and whatnot as some people are...I've only seen the movie 2 and a half times...(dont' ask..lol) and I'm in the process if reading the first book right now.
I originally had no desire to see the movie, nor did I understand the whole phenomenon behind why everyone was so infatuated with the movie. But my roommate loved it and got the movie for Christmas, and since I have loved Elijah since I was like 12...I agreed to watch it...And that was the beginning of the end...lol
We went to see the Two Towers th next day, and ever since then I've been cursing the fact that it's not out on DVD yet...( me likes the 2nd one better...)
See, part of why I never wanted to get into the whole LOTR thing was because i think I knew deep down that it was something that i would really like, and I didn't need another obsession(oh well...too late) and so my plan was to wait until all 3 movies were out, and then I'd rent the first 2 and then go see the third one in the theaters...but things changed, I caved, and now...Now look at me.
So technically I didn't trip over your journal...i was pointed in your direction by 'silvercharmer' when I asked about the mood icons she was using and I won't lie...I originally came here to ask about using the mood icons and move along. but no...you had to go and make your journal layout all magical and purdy, and suck me in and whatnot. I do admit I enjoyed some of your previous posts and instead of cutting and pasting some of the funny stuff to my roommate for her to read, i'm going to have to make her add you as a friend too!!! lol (she's a legolas fan ..hee)
Well, I must be going now. i'm sorry to randomly spam in your Journal, but I had to let it be known that you had another person chuckling over your journal, and being interested in the mood icons :)

*snort* *giggle* Man, if I knew letting Whits use my icons would make me so dang popular, I might have thought twice before letting her take them! *giggle* Anyway, I have no problems letting you use the icons too, if you'd like. You'd be the 4th one to take them. :) Just have to ask if you have your own website to host them on... because they're hosted on my friends site and I don't want to use up her bandwidth. If you don't have your own site, though, she said it should be okay for you to just use them as is. But I thought I'd let you know it'd be helpful if you could just upload them to your own site. But, let me know and I'll get you set up soon. :) (by the way, sorry I didn't answer your post sooner... busy and all this month.. :-/)

ROTFL, well I'm glad I amused you so much, dear! ;) I hope I don't scare you and your friend beyond repair with some of the posts I make... ;) *giggle* Anyways, make yourself at home here... it's always good to have another LOTR fan on my list of friends. :) Feel free to randomly spam in my journal whenever you feel like it, I really don't mind. In fact, I love getting stuff like that. Hehe.
