Just like to point this out... I most assuredly did not say Farscape was better than LOTR. That would be ludicrous. What I meant was my Farscape OBSESSION was GREATER than my LOTR obsession. To me LOTR is something to be savored and really delved into with a great degree of respect and caution, whereas any and everything Farscape I see makes me scream with giddy delight--just before I rip it to shreds. lol. When it comes to obsessing over LOTR, oh it's there, anyone who knows me can see that, but I take the actual novel very seriously. As a writer, there's just something about the books that make me stare in open-mouthed awe; making me almost timid to really delve into the hidden depths of Tolkien's masterpiece. I share no qualms in ogling my dear hobbits, but when it comes to any real criticism I take very calculated steps in how far I actually go in expressing my thoughts and hidden obsessions about the story. Whereas in Farscape, the outright talent and blinding genius the screenplay expresses deserves every ounce of SQUEE it can get, without making me feel uncomfortable about whether or no I massacre the true express of inventiveness behind it. So that, in a nutshell (a very big nutshell), is why my Farscape obsession is much grander than my LOTR obsession.

More clear, oh my little pervy elfy-bopper friend? You know of whom I speak... *ahem* sorry, Galadriel moment there.

i know what you mean. i was thinking about it while i was watching TTT earlier and i am such a teeny bopper/elfybopper but...i do have these huge amounts of respect for both the novel and the movies...an equal balance of both i guess...the point of this was yes i understand what you meant :)

=) That's good. I'm glad you 'caught my meaning' (sorry... Sam moment now, lol). But, now it's *my* turn to be shocked and disappointed, my dear Michelle... over how you reacted to my news of my Farscape obsession being bigger than my LOTR one... I would think out of all I knew you'd understand my obsession the most! *breaks down into huge tears* Oh, I'm so disappointed to find out you don't share the same degree of love and respect for the absolutely breathtaking Farscape plot! *sob* *shudder* *moan* ;) I mean, REALLY, michelle! To NOT put Farscape on at least the SAME level of awe as LOTR... just makes me sad! *sniffle*

i like Farscape a lot...but i've missed too much i think to really be in awe of it like you. i watched like half of the first season and i was like "this is too weird even for me" and i didn't start watching again until like 2 minutes ago! i don't have really much of anything that is on the same level as LOTR. although Stargate is close and farscape is about the same as farscape.

and now that we've cleared that up we return you to your regularly scheduled program.

AAAAAAAAH! YOU'VE MISSED ALL THE BEST PARTS OF FARSCAPE, NO WONDER YOU DON'T KNOW HOW AWESOME IT IS! *slaps your wrists* I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! DAMN!!! You missed Aeryn's death, and John going crazy, and OH MY GOD.... OH MY GOD, YOU MISSED THE JOHN CLONE AND ... OHHHHHHH MY GOD! YOU SO HAVE TO SEE THOSE EPISODES, MICHELLE! I didn't even see the first 2 seasons... I came onto the Farscape scene just last year... and now look at me. Dear god, I can't believe you missed those episodes... uuugh. And Talyn! You didn't see ANY Talyn at all, did you? OR *GASP* STARK? DEAR LORD IN HEAVEN! Oh, I'm offended now. Be gone with you! *turns back to you*

no wait! i saw the john clone and i saw aeryn die. and i saw a few things with talyn. my dad and becca still watched it so if it was on and i had nothing better to do i watched it!!!!! please don't desert me gabby! :( i'll do better i promise!
