Evil computer of doom!
Feb. 7th, 2005 12:24 pmWell, I've been saying it for the past year. I've meant it for the past three months or so. Now, it's finally true. My computer is broken. It's going to explode. I can't even get it to start up. It's making horrible noises. Lights all over the place flash wildly every time I try to turn it on. It's dead. The beast, is dead.
The good news is, I've been expecting it for a while, so I backed most everything up onto CDs. The bad news is, I think the last time I did a backup was a couple months ago. Do you know how much writing I've done since I got home from Europe? Yeah, sux0rz. We'll see if I can't pull the guts out of that @($@%)#! &#)%&#$% !)%&@$(%@ and retrieve my new files.
But, until I get a new computer (= until I have enough money) I have no means for e-mail, livejournal, or anything else. So. This sucks, right? Yeah. No clue when I'm going to be able to get back on here. So I guess this is it for a while. We'll see how available a temporary computer will be made for me.
Until then: Superbowl sucked, I hate the Pats, the only good commercials were the "Don't judge too quickly" ones (You're being robbed! THE CAT! OMG poor kitty!), and this year's superbowl movie was X2; Saturday blowed, watched some of Donnie Brasco, the SAG awards were awesome, I hope Morgan Freeman feels like poop for taking that award from the cute little 12 year old from Finding Neverland, and the dead actors tribute should never, EVER, make me cry damn you all; Friday was exhausting, watched parts of "Fast & the Furious," remembered why I never bothered watching it before, I hate remakes of recent, perfectly good movies (Gone In 60 Seconds will 4eva RUL3Z!!1), I love Monk hardcore. The end. Goodbye.
