Ugh... so... tired...
I am SO SLEEPY RIGHT NOW! Uuuugh. Tonight was Tracy's party. 'Twas fun. Yesss... I had a rockin' time. There was lesse... Tracy H., Sue Santy, Lexi, Megan, Shakita, Hanna, Dani, Jana (or Jena?), um... yeah. I think that was it. I'm not sure. There was candy involved. My brain is still a little fuzzy from the sugar induced stupor I found myself in. lol! But yeah, it was jammin'... I'd give you more details, but I don't think I can. *snooore* lol.
Um... yeah, tomorrow I'm going to see Vendetta Red and the Ataris with a bunch of people. Hmmm should be interesting. I'm gonna be SO TIRED on Monday...
I watched Edward Scissorhands today. *blush* Heeee. So sue me. I watch it at least twice a year every year anyway, so I figured I was due. Plus, too many people were talking about it and it really made me crave some good Danny Elfman/Tim Burton/Johnny Depp-age. Yes. Deppage. Bwahahaa I think I need to use that word more often. But anyways... *sigh* I have been so mellow and ... not really depressed, but sort of sad in that almost unconscious way, you know what I mean? I reminded myself why that movie was my favorite when I was little. And I LOVE watching it when it's cold outside, because I shiver so much... the movie makes me cold... but in a good way... if that makes sense? I dunno. I'm sleepy and coming off a sugar high, I'm probably just babbling. But anyways, things that made me shiver/cry/smile/remember/think/feel/ponder:
Kim: I'm so scared... Hold me?
Edward: I can't.
Pam: What happened to your parents? Um, your mother? Your father?
Edward: He didn't wake up.
Edward: Don't go...
Edward: I knew it was Jim's house.
Kim: You did? Then why did you do it?
Edward: Because you asked me to.
and the interviews they had before the movie (I have the special 10 year anniversary collectors edition). Some wonderful comments in there.
*sigh* Yeah. You know what I realized while I was watching it? I had a flashback of a little 7 year old me watching that movie, and it dawned on me: That's the very first time I remember crying. And I don't think it was while watching it, but afterward when I was thinking about it. The very first time I cried, not because of some scratch or outward pain, but because of pain in my heart. Yeah. I forgot how much that movie stuck with me. I remember now. *shudder* I dunno. I just forgot how much it affected my life afterward.
Anyways, now I have the soundtrack stuck in my head and it's making me even more melancholy. Heh. I realized I have NO Danny Elfman music. !!! That's a mortal sin! I need to find me the CD. Bria found it on amazon for $10.99 (not including s&h), but I'll give a cookie to anyone who knows where I can find it for cheaper! :D
Dang. Danny Elfman. I can't WAIT until C&CF. That's gonna be the best movie ever. The three geniuses of hollywood reunited again. =D
Okay, I'm rambling. Bed.

Bored Now
I've decided on my halloween costume. I'm going to the fabric store and see if I can find a pattern for a simple midevil dress. And depending on what I find I'm going either be Éwoyn or Arwen. However if I don't find anything, mom has a pattern for a colonial dress so I'll settle for that and go as Elizabeth. OR Captain Jo Morgan (in her "innocent lady" disguise). Yes, I sew. I haven't done so in a long time but when I was 8 I would sew my own clothes. On top of sewing I can, pick out flaws in quilts, see how fabric crafts are made, use power tools, build model trains, can tell if a pocket watch is worth anything, and fix skates, among other things. I know, quite an odd collection of abilities.
Ooh! If I'm Elizabeth for Halloween then that means I get Will! OR if I'm Arwen it means I get Aragorn. OR if I'm Éwoyn then I get Faramir. I've decided I'm not going to be Captian Jo Morgan. I don't want Jack. *Gives Jack the lyrics to 98°'s song, "Why are we still friends?" so he can sing it to himself and sends him your way*
Okay, this entry is getting long. I'm in a good mood and since you're not here to feed my inspiration, at the moment I'm at a lack for witty comments. Surpise suprise! remmebr this, because it won't happen again! *Walks off muttering about insufferable pirate captains who are obsessed with rum and how they should be thrown overboard. Damn! he'd probablt survive it and come back just to make my life a living hell!*
