ladyoflorien: (Annoyed Beyond All Reason)

Live Journal is EVIL!

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that since LJ has been "improved," almost nothing works right anymore? Beh. I now demand no more people get an LJ, that way there's more bandwidth for ME, DAMNIT. Last night all I wanted to do was make a post about what I'd done the last couple days and answer some comments friends had sent me. But could I do that? Noooooo. Ranted to Bria about it until 2am when LJ magically started working again. Of course by that time I was too tired to say anything. RAR. EVIL! I will make that post I intended to make last night later, as now I'm tired and cranky and need a shower. But first, friends page spoils...

ROTK Spoiler pics. Oh yes, I am giddy.

The Meatrix. Mildly amusing, and incredibly disturbing. You have been warned.

LOTR Comic. Not really funny, but posted anyway because a) I am in awe of the artist, b) I never thought I'd see Sauron roll his eye and say "gah," but to my amusement it's in there, c) All the hidden text throughout the comic, and d) the references to Monty Python, Mighty Mouse, The Fifth Element, PotC, and more. Oh yes, this was all greatly endearing. Oh, be sure you flip the page, otherwise you'll never get it.

Also, found this post made by [livejournal.com profile] jedi_bria:

Gabby says, "You can't have a PotC sequel without Captain Jack Sparrow. ;)" From the Jo stand point, Does he HAVE to come back? (To be honest, I really do want him back. He like makes the whole movie. Gabby, I'll NEVER admit that again and if you ask I shall deny it.)

*cheeky grin* I'm not saying anything, love.

Not.
A.
Thing.

*grin*

Only 14 more days until TTT EE.
And only 43 days until ROTK.

If you want to be REALLY disturbed by this phenomenon, check out factoryfarming.com. It's disgusting what people will do for money. >:P

Ick. Since we moved north (precisely a year ago) it's been nearly impossible to recycle. That's been driving me CRAZY! When we signed up at the new video rental place a couple months ago I noticed a can for recyclable goods to be given to the boy scouts. I'm in the process of trying to convince my rents to start seperating their trash again.

Also we've been having some very serious discussions about buying free range meats lately, even though it's more expensive. What they do to those animals in factory farms is not only inhumane and disgusting, but very dentramental to our health as well.

*shakes head* I HATE big corporations.

*nods* You might also want to consider having vegetarian meals at least ocassionally. VegWeb and The Vegan Chef have some great recipies. (although some of the stuff on veganchef.com is a bit complicated. She is a professional, after all. :)

It's actually a lot cheaper to eat vegetarian, as long as you don't rely too heavily on pre-packaged conveinence foods. (like I tend to do. Must work on that. :P)

Pre-packaged convenience foods could very well be the death of me. I eat WAY too much stuff like that.

I do eat vegetarian meals quite a bit, actually, but I have some vitamin deficiencies and health risks that demand I eat a good portion of meat every week. *shrug* Sad, but true. But it should please you to know that most of my favorite meals are meat-less. ;)
