So in less than 10 hours it'll be the big day. November eighteenth. And I still need to make a decision: regular TTT:EE, or the box set?

Geh. The box set doesn't pay for itself as well as the one for FotR did, but I want that bonus DVD!

The gift box includes the following extras: "The Evolution of Gollum" exclusive: a bonus DVD on the Weta Workshop and how the Gollum statue was created, featuring interviews with Peter Jackson, Richard Taylor, the cast and more! Also featured on the bonus disc, a printed companion piece showing how Gollum evolved from pencil sketch to sculpted maquette to digital character.

Grrr. But I really don't want to spend $30 extra for ONE DVD. I mean, I could care less about the statuette. The little magazines aren't a priority. All I really want is that DVD. *sigh* I'm probably just gonna get the regular EE. But I'm gonna complain about that extra DVD till the day I die.

I'm getting just the extended edition. If that helps. (DON'T WASTE ANOTHER $30! THINK OF EVERYTHING ELSE IT COULD GO TO INSTEAD! *nods* Pirates of the Caribbean comes out in a couple weeks! Save for that! *nodsnodsnods*)

*squirms* Looks like I'm gonna have to do some DVD burning in the near future. Because X2 and PotC coming out within a week of each other is not so much with the good.

My blockbuster rents the extra DVD from the big FOTR gift set. I'm counting on them to do the same for TTT, because it's just not worth the extra cash.
