LOTR things make Gabby happeeeeeeeeeey!

Wow, MTV actually has an article about Viggo's new album. Very cool. I especially like the "'Half Fling' is a genius bit of improvised gibberish by Dom and Elijah." quote and this bit 'o info:

Among the songs on his album is "One Man's Meat," which he describes as "an exploration of meat and meat byproducts, conceived and performed by carnivores and vegetarians, for consumption by all." WTF??? Ahahaha.

I have finally read the entirety of the 'Newsweek' article and have a few comments on the pictures/articles.

-Frodo is deliciously scruffy in the opening picture.

-Aragorn with primped hair! He took a bath! And wow, I love him and Brego so much I could die. Best picture ever! Even with the sissy hair! (I betcha Legolas slipped his bubble bath into Aragorn's bath)

-Again PJ's horror leanings peak through. Really cool or really lame? We'll see. All I know is Aragorn looks really hot in this picture of him leading the... well, you book readers know. ;)

-The part about Viggo's skills with children = EEP! "Do you think Aragorn would baby-sit children?" AHAHA. HeissosweetIcoulddieathousandtimes.

-"Fellowship of the Nitpickers": MISTAKES! A WHOLE LIST OF MISTAKES! GABBY HAPPY! This is something I, as well as people like Bria, get a big kick out of. Bwahahaha. If the elves are so tall, and hobbits are so short, then WHY is the balcony Frodo leaned against in Rivendell the PERFECT height for him? Hhhhmmmm....

-PJ shares my loathing for spiders. Shelob should be interesting to see in that case.

-PJ "NEVER LIKED" THE SCOURING OF THE SHIRE CHAPTER, THEREFORE NEVER EVEN INTENDED FOR IT TO BE IN THE FILM FOR A MINUTE! Bastard. I knew this, as well as some choice other scenes, were going to be dropped, but the fact that he DIDN'T LIKE THE CHAPTER? And it wont even be on the DVD? Rar.

-Does it surprise me that PJ's next film is going to be "King Kong"? No.


As a reporter leaves Wellington in May, he shakes Jackson's hand between takes of a scene, and asks if the studio will let him make "Return of the King" as long as it needs to be. Jackson's eyes get wide, and he grins: "I'll MAKE them let me." HEEEE I LOVE HIM!

Hmm... I know that Becky found some scanned Newsweek images... she might know if the article has been scanned yet or not. And I'd try the official Newsweek website too, if I were you. *shrug* It's worth a shot.
