Dude, why do LOTR fans keep talking about watching webcams?? Did I miss something?

I want to see almost all the movies listed here. Heh. I know I've already mentioned over half of them in my LJ before now, but I'm too tired to weed out the other half. Let's just say there's some serious fellowship-cast movies going on and such.

LOTR:
1. A tourist summed it up perfectly: "We will never see Wellington like this again. It's the atmosphere, it's getting into the spirit." *sigh* I wish I had been there!! MAN! Main purpose for linking this article: because I loved hearing all the NZ expressions. ehee.
2. Aaahahahahaha! What WILL they think of next?! :P
3. NZ premier captures and parade video. dude, I just "MEEP"ed. Out loud. REALLY loud. It's past 11pm here. (EDIT: It has just been brought to my attention that you might have to go here for the parade video)
4. Picture of Dom from an Insomniac's Diary (or something). If you look closely, you can see a tattoo on his shoulder. Is that the one the cast of LOTR all got at the close of the movie?! Meep. I never noticed this before, but you can see it here too. Hmmmm...
5. Why the Rings will remain popular. Everyone must read this article, because IT'S SO US! Well, so me and Bria, at least. It's crazy how like me it is. OH! AND! C.S. Lewis' Narnia series is going to be made into a movie? WHY DID I NOT KNOW THIS?? WHEEEEEE! (I am now adopting this article's name for us -- The Fanship. Hee)
6. Pretty. I love gypsyjr.
7. Spoiler-ific. Am also holding out till after Dec. 17th to watch this one. *sigh*

1. Latest word on the Oprah show with AJ and Denise etc is that it'll be aired on December 10th.
2. The Spanish website BSBLatino.com has known through reliable official sources that this time the return of Backstreet Boys as a group seems not only possible, but almost certain. Backstreet Boys are currently negotiating their return to the studio for the beginning of 2004, to record what would be, their fifth studio album.

On behalf of BSBLatino we would like to ask you all to pay attention to events on Dec. 10th. On this day the Oprah show in which all five Boys reunited will at last be shown on American TV...but there is something even better....that day the Boys may be on The Billboard Awards in Las Vegas, and an official announcement may be given. We were not authorized to tell what the announcement would be, but our source did say that it would make Backstreet Fans very happy *lol* MEEEEEP! This sounds too good to be true. *dances around the room*
