Yeah. So... an update!
I've been working on friends page updates for so long I almost forgot what this thing was for. ^^;
So Friday my dad was supposed to get home from Washington DC fairly early in the afternoon. It turns out that the blizzard was so bad where he was supposed to land that they circled for hours before running out of fuel and having to turn back and land in Washington again. I kid you not. He didn't get home until after 9pm, well after I had left for the party.
So I went to the party despite my reservations and it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. RoniSue and Alicia, as always, went all out on the snacks and goodies and that was wonderful. We had pizza for dinner, yum. There were a ton of people there (I think 12 aside from myself?) and I met a couple new girls. I had called alicia before I left and I was afraid it was gonna be this huge girly party with "manicures" and "pedicures" and "facials" and all that crap, but luckily no one else wanted to do that stuff either so we didn't. LOL. Poor Alicia, but lord was I relieved.
We danced in the dark with glow sticks. We ran around like idiots. We played Truth or Dare Jenga. We blasted music and played random games and watched random movies. I got pissed at Allia because she wanted to watch X2 but I told her I couldn't see it until I watched it with my brother. So what does she do but get a big group to go in the living room and watch it. I was basically banished to the other room all night, and they refused to let us watch anything we wanted to or do anything. biotch. So basically our group was segregated into two halves for the rest of the party. Which caused some undo teeny-girl pressure I could have really done without. But I finally got to see Charlie's Angels 2 (STOOPIDEST MOVIE EVER!!! EVER!!! I liked all the celebrity cameos, though. ESPECIALLY BRUCE! EEE MY BRUCE WILLIS BABY! AND SHIA LEBOUF! WHEEE!! Not to mention I finally figured out that creepy slimy guy was Marty McFly Sr. from Back to the Future... HA! But those were the only good parts) and me along with Nichole H, Ashley S, Alicia, Liz B, and another girl I forgot the name of had fun regardless. Alicia and that girl played pranks on the other half of the party until like 4am because they had fallen asleep WICKED early. Needless to say Allia went ballistic. I'm kind of disappointed in her. She showed a really girly spoiled attitude at points, and that made me sad because I always respected her for her tomboy ways. *sigh* Whatever. Our half fell asleep in the wee hours to Bring It On. Heh.
The next day was rather uneventful, due to afore mentioned "stress" between the two party factions. TEEN GIRLS ARE SO STUPID SOMETIMES I WANT TO KILL MYSELF! My GOD. I am so glad I grew up a tom boy, because if I had to hang out with girls all the time, and pretty much nothing but girls, I would have killed myself long ago. Girls are SO stupid. They kill me. I really can't stand but a handful of them, and after hanging out with a group of them I need a couple weeks to "detox" otherwise I get violent and depressed. *sigh* Bad childhoods suck sometimes.
ANYWAYS, moving on. It started snowing Friday evening and didn't stop until Sunday some time. Saturday I thought I was gonna get stranded at RoniSue and Alicia's, but almost everyone else was getting picked up/leaving, so I told my rents to feel free to come get me (I ain't driving in the snow. You kidding me?). I watched TTT:EE with my dearest RoniSue for most of the afternoon. SHE KICKS SO MUCH BUTT! It's sad that out of everyone at the party I had the most fun with the 30-something mother/chaperon. But she really is the coolest. We had SO MUCH FUN watching TTT:EE. Then dad came and picked me up a little after 4pm.
The rest of Saturday was dull. Since I had only gotten like 4 hours of sleep Friday night I was tired and zombie like and gross feeling from too much junk food for the rest of the day. Plus I was too scared to turn on my computer because The One Computer + Snow = power outage EVERY TIME. So I turned it on briefly to say hi to Bria, then shut it down again. Took a LONG shower in the dark. Dark being the thing that looks like a heat lamp but is disappointingly NOT on (very low light). I just soaked and steamed and let the gross-ness seep out of my body. Then I curled up on the couch/bed downstairs and watched TV for a while (King of the Jungle and Jurassic Park 2... yay for stupid movies with good actors ie: Jeff Goldblume my love) while messing with my scrapbook. Crashed early and read a little RotK because I am SO non-committal when it comes to reading books. I need to post some of my favorite phrases from what I read that night, but I'll do that later.
Slept in late the next morning 'cause the meeting had been canceled. Jeanna's flight had been delayed. In fact she didn't get here until this morning, so it was a whole 24 hour delay. I, for the most part, just tried to get updated with LJ all day yesterday (it was still snowing like a mofo, but I said screw it, I'm too bored to not have my computer on all day). Took another dark shower to relax (felt icky all day too), watched a little TV, and that's about it.
Today about the same. Jeanna AND Jonna have been here all day, which has been incredibly amusing let-me-tell-you. Jonna has sprayed me with Nadia's water bottle several times today. I got out my squirt gun just in case she came after me again, but she didn't, so it's laying at my feet, still full and leaking somewhat. We all ate dinner together and all had time to talk and chat for a bit, but mostly I've been here, on the computer, reading hundreds of friends entries. I'm so glad THAT'S over. I don't think I'm ever going to go anywhere ever again because I don't want to go through that again!! Tomorrow should be some fun play!time with the big sisters.
And that's about it for me! Matt Giff turns sweet 16 tomorrow. HAhaha. Good for him. ;)

I suddenly have the overwhelming urge to start a Dom fic. *groans*

I hear ya. I mostly hang out with guys and I like it that way.
Course lately I've been hanging out with Matt and Annie so much, and they're both fun, not wierd too-guyish or too-girlish. :D
