Am I the only one who will sit at one of those hug counter things and give my friend like 20 hugs? Because I swear, I got a message saying "Please wait a few seconds in between hugs" and it made me laugh.

.When did you first become a LOTR fan?: When I was about 8, I believe. So 12 years ago.
.Have you read the books?: Yes.
.Seen the movies?: Yeeesss.
.What is it that you love about LOTR?: *contemplates this for a long while* The fact that it's so rich in detail. It feels very real. The emotional theme. The themes that drove Tolkien to write it, such as his love of the environment, the camaraderie of war (if I can use such a garish term). The many layered relationships and histories. The fact that everything has a voice.
.How many times did you see each of the movies:
FOTR - 7 times in theater. Downloaded on computer for countless more viewings. At least 3 times on DVD.
TTT - 4 times in theater. Downloaded on computer for several more viewings. I believe 3 times total on DVD.
ROTK - Once in theater.
.Times you've read the books: Oh lord. All three from beginning to end twice in the last 2 years. Before that? Who can tell. Dozens of times.
.Just how obsessed are you with LOTR?: I sometimes fancy myself the Lady of the Golden Wood, what does that tell you? ;)
.Can you speak elvish? ..... *blushes* .... Yesss.... Quenya (The High Tongue) and Sindarin (The Nobel Tongue). Im Gabby uin Lothlorien.
.Did you dress up for any of the movie premires: I wanted to, but what's the point when you live in the middle of Nowhere? I went to RotK donning my One Ring around my neck (mithril chain!) and my hair up like Galadriel's, though.
.Most memorable moment as a fan: When I finished the trilogy for the first time. I sat there and cried. Aside from that I would have to say the first time that I saw FotR in theaters. It was... breathtaking. Moving. Solid. Real. Rich. Beautiful.

.favorite hobbit: This question isn't fair. Pippin for many reasons, but I love them all.

.favorite scene from the books: *thinks for a long time* The Choices of Master Samwise, only because it's the part that moves me the most. But there are so SO many great scenes and chapters that it's really unfair to ask me to choose. My mind will change the next time you ask me. ;)

FOTR: When Gandalf Falls, When Boromir falls, and mostly when they're in Lothlorien and Boromir is speaking to Aragorn. Have you ever seen it, Aragorn? The White Tower of Ichthalion, glimmering like a spike of pearl and silver, it's banners caught high in the morning breeze? Have you ever been called home by the clear ringing of silver trumpets?
TTT: When Grima cries at the massiveness of Sarumon's army, and when Gambling is suiting up King Theoden for war. "Where is the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? They have passed like rain on the mountain, like wind in the meadows. The sun has gone down in the west, behind the hills, into shadow. How did it come to this?"
RotK: When the Riders of Rohan come to Gondor's aid, Theoden's speech. "Arise, arise, Riders of Theoden! Fell deeds awake: fire and slaughter! Spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered! a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises! Ride now, Ride now! Ride to Gondor!"
.coolest creature: Gollum
.scariest creature: If the books: The Black Riders. The movie: Shelob. She scared the F*** out of me.
.cutest creature: Pippin, ehehe.... *blush*
.favorite quote: Er... I think I've covered enough quotes as it is. Those are my favorites from the movies. My favorites from the books... well, who can number them? I keep going back to The Choices of Master Samwise, which was full of incredibly endearing quotes. Then there's when Merry wakes up in the houses of healing, and his first words are "I am hungry. What is the time?" And just so many more. :P
