ABADABOO!
Biggest disappointment of the day so far: The Unofficial Dominic Monaghan site is down! NOOO! This is not good. But I did come across another cool site in my frantic search for information: http://www.dominicmonaghan.org.uk/
Another disappointment is I couldn't find my SW trilogy! I found Episode 1, but I don't want to watch THAT! *sigh* Oh well. Bria and I had fun doing random trivia anyways. She'd give me a quote and I'd have to decide if it was SW or LOTR. Heh, some of them were HARD man! I swear PJ ripped off some of George Lucas' scripts. Hehe.
Random Dom fact: "He hates smoking, and had to drink milk on the set of LoTR to prevent him from throwing up when he had to smoke a pipe." Okay, I want to know how we went from this to smoker Dom. I blame Elijah. :P
I'm downloading some music as we speak to get into Dom's character a little more. I've got a little list: The Beatles, The Stone Roses, The Sundays, Elvis, Portishead, Stevie Wonder, Radiohead, Coldplay, David Grey, Miles Davis, Pavement, Joy Division, The Smiths, David Bowie, Early Wham, Duran Duran and Madonna. (I love him so, lol) I also figure I'll download some Smashing Pumpkins, Massive Attack and Jimi Hendrix (some of Elijah's favorites), since Dom and Lij exchange musical tastes so much as it is.
A while ago I had this idea to write a fanfic around a soundtrack. Basically just create this awesome playlist and write something around the music. I never expounded upon the idea, but nonetheless a good soundtrack has always been important to me and the flow of the story. So I'm just gonna gather a playlist of some of Dom's favorite music, the songs that speak to me the most, and work the emotion of that into my fic. The sad thing? I find all this a lot of FUN. *smacks self* TOO MUCH FREE TIME, YO!
All right, back to raiding my CD collection and giving WinMX a run for it's money. Gabby loves her Coldplay CDs, man. Gabby wants to be buried with her Coldplay CDs. *hugs them*
