Darn you [livejournal.com profile] jedi_bria!

It's not right that editing a partial chapter of fic should take one FOUR HOURS TO DO. Yes, it IS insanely early, but I hadn't noticed. Oh no. I wasn't glancing at the clock every twelve minutes thinking "Gaah, this is taking FOREVER to finish!" Oh well. It's done.

I wanted to regale you all with tales from me and Sammi's exciting day of chatting, as well as show you the best thing ever the two of us created, but I guess it'll have to wait till tomorrow. *yawn* I hate going to bed at dawn.

This movie looks strangely interesting. I'm vacillating between "Ooo COOL!" and "Oh lord, why?" at the moment. But the cast isn't too bad, so who knows. Only thing - the trailer is playing a snippet of some John Willaims tune, but I can't figure out WHAT. I want to say Indiana Jones, but I'm really not sure. Regardless, I KNOW it's John Williams. Bria, watch the trailer and find out for me! If anyone will now, it's you. ;)

By the way, We have a winner. Scroll ALLLLL the way down to the bottom.

That's defently John Williams based. It sounded combination Indiana Jones, Harry Potter and I think a little Star Wars or Jurassic Park. All John WIlliams sort of sounds alike. I'm at school now and at random points it's freezing up on me, making it harder to decipher themes. I'll listen to it when I get home tonight and get back to you. I checked IMDB and they say Edward Shearmur is the composer for the movie so I'm not sure. But there are some definate themes I recognize in there, so we'll see.

Hannon le gwanunig nín, meleth le. *Hands over tapes of all desired hobbits and drity men of Gondor as well as a prank tape stolen from Dom's house. In adition to all of that, hands you also get as many chocolate hobbits as you can stomach.*

I know, that's why I generally don't care for him. His music is too conforming for my personal tastes.

I KNOW WHAT IT IS! I KNOW WHAT IT IS! IT'S THE "STARGATE" THEME SONG!!!! Granted, I have no idea if this was originally composed by John Williams or not, but that's DEFINITELY what it is. It was driving me crazy, too.

Hannon le, gwanunig nin. But I'm still tired!

*Listens again while at school*

I'm thinking Indiana Jones. It's set in the same time period 1930's so it would make sense. It's one of William's lesser used themes, but recognizable. The end is more of a HP theme though. Once again, I'll listen when I get home.

Someone pointed the music out to me - it's the Stargate movie theme. Not John Williams as far as I know, but that might explain why it sounds familiar.
