I'm boring yeah, yeah yeah, I'm boring yeah, yeah yeah!
Aah, there's nothing like a good episode of Futurama to end a day. Alternate universe eppy. One of my favorites. "Our Universe is doomed! DOOOOOOOOMED!"
And you know what? The Outback Steakhouse commercials don't lie..... the waiters really are better looking there. Yep. You'd think the ones in the commercials would be actors, but nope, they were all at my local Outback Steakhouse tonight. Yep. And my waiter was an especially attractive breed of Emo boy. Umm, yeah. If I lived 30 miles closer man, I'd so apply for a job there.
Today I had a Dr.'s Appt, so mom and I left for Concord early and went shopping. I got SO MANY THINGS I've been needing lately, I feel incredibly satisfied. We hit Target, Linens & Things, and Best Buy. I finally bought all the picture frames I need, I got an awesome wicker organizer thing for like jewelry or stuff like that, and a ton of other piddly things that don't really require a mention. I wanted to get some of those teeth whitening strips, but they're TWENTY BUCKS. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? TWENTY BUCKS FOR WHITENING STRIPS? I DON'T THINK SO! So I just bought whitening toothpaste instead for a buck-sixty.
Mom and I met dad and JD at Outback for dinner after Dr. Bells, and it was mucho fun. I haven't been to Outback in FOREVER and I really love it there. It's so pricey, but there's nothing like a good meal every once in a while. And trust me, even putting the wonderful, um, "atmosphere" aside (HEH), the meal was indeed wonderful. How I wish there was an Outback closer to home for me to work at! I also lamented not having a Best Buy closer to home because I feel like I could so work there. Hmm, perhaps my unconscious mind is secretly desiring all the jobs I can't have because I really don't want to have to get another job period? There's something to consider.
SHOOT, I FORGOT ALL ABOUT NEWLYWEDS!!!! DARN IT!!! *throws a teeny fit* MAN, now I have to remember to look for reruns. Bah, can't miss my Nick and Jessica. They're just too funny to pass up.
Okay, I'm going to bed. So, in closing, Andy the carpenter on "Knock First" is like a really hot version of Ben Affleck, and Andy Laurence is starting to grow out of his awkward stage and is actually getting as cute as his older brothers. Because teenage-andy was just homely as sin. Um, these thoughts brought to you by my obsessive home decorating program watching and "Take it to the Mat," the latest Disney Channel movie starring wittle Andy Laurence. I'll give the kid this, he can act circles around Joey. HEH.
