(no subject)

So there was one other nice thing about yesterday I failed to mention. It was warm. There were motorcyclists out EVERYWHERE. I drove all the way to Chichester and back and I must have seen three dozen motorcycles out and about. Mmm, sun. A wonderful 30-40 degrees. Yes, normally I'd shoot myself in the head for saying 30 degrees is WARM weather, but considering the last time it was that warm was sometime before Thanksgiving, I'll take what I can get.

Great. As if I wasn't feeling silly enough for watching Celeste In The City yesterday, I just spent the evening watching Notting Hill (damn that Rhys Ifans). And for some reason I REALLY want to see Ella Enchanted. *beats head repeatedly* Oooh, but it's all okay now, because CAREY ELWES IS IN IT! OMGA! *swoons* I'm good.

And, WTH?! He finally releases some movies in the US (last was Uprising, the TV mini series) and he's costarring alongside JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE?! *smacks forehead* Carey, darling? I hate you so. More info here.

Brad's flying out Friday to keep Super Monkey (aka whitaker) awake on the road as he drives to Portland from Ohio. Whitaker really is a super monkey, he's gonna dance around for us and bust out some mad code. (from the main page)

Sammi? I'm thinking of you darling.

There's a LOTR slash story called "Waltz #2." Yes, that is in fact based on the song by Elliot Smith. ... *shudder* I don't know why, but that just icks me out.

Remember when I, oh, "casually" mentioned that Billy Boyd is going to be a voice in the new Chucky movie? (btw, how the heck is that gonna work out? Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly just happen to have an evil child with a Scottish accent? ...Wait... given the absurdity of these movies I've just realized that my initial complaint is pointless.)

Billy Boyd Voicing Seed of Chucky Source: Creature Corner Monday, March 1, 2004
Creature Corner has confirmed that Billy Boyd, who played Pippin in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and also starred in "Master and Commander," will reteam with his "The Two Towers" star Brad Dourif in voicing Seed of Chucky for Focus Features.
Dourif returns as the voice of Chucky and Jennifer Tilly will lend her voice again for Tiffany. In the new film, Chucky and his bride have a new addition to the family, and Boyd will voice this "child". John Waters is expected to have a small role as well. Child's Play series creator Don Mancini is writing and directing "Seed" which will shoot in Romania for an October release date.

Again I have to wonder what these guys do when that little voice in the back of their mind whispers, "You do realize this is a horrible idea, right mate? You're going to make a complete tit of yourself." ... Is the little voice in the back of your mind Australian with a slightly British dialog? No, just me? Okay then.

Best LOTR Cast shot ever. EVER. I adore this picture. And what is more, because it's so big I have to scroll across to see the whole thing, I amused myself greatly when at last I came upon Peter and exclaimed with a small gasp of shock "Holy cow, they somehow convinced him to dress up! He's wearing PANTS for love's sake!" and then I continue scrolling down to discover he is in fact barefoot. Some things never change. Some things you just don't argue with.

Minas Tirith. One of the many reasons why I adore WETA with all my heart, and I fully intend on stealing this model at some point. I think it would look right nice in my room, right next to David Wenham. Muahahaha.

Elijah Wood is somyboyfriend. Warning: HI RES PICTURE. It's literally the size of Rhode Island. So if you have a particularly finicky connection, it might take a couple, oh say, DAYS for this to load. But it's worth it. Remember how Sean Astin described Elijah's eyes as sort of an eclipse? Yeah, I'm definitely seeing the resemblance. Also? FRECKLES! *hugs*

I made homemade pasta today. Really. Okay, so in honestly I helped my mom, sister, and future brother-in-law, but it's my journal so damn them all, I'm taking the credit. Pasta from scratch. We even used a pasta maker where you have to turn a crank. The great thing is we have an electric pasta maker, but mom hates it, so we never use it. So yeah, homemade pasta. Fun times.

My head is killing me. I had a terrible morning. I need to not avoid bed any longer, it being around 1:10 in the morning and all. Really. I honestly should not avoid bed.

... shut up, you know I'm going to be awake for a few hours yet.

bria: So Dom sucks his thumb?
me: yes he does.
bria: right or left?
me: I don't think anyone but you would ask.
bria: is one of his thumbs fatter than the other

Justin.... EWWWWWWWW *cringes*

HEHEHE on that cast shot 'Lijah and Orlando are next to eachother. *momentarlly blacks out*

That 'Lijah pic freaked me out before my computer scalled it to the sixe of the window. In the origional format he kinda looks like Anthony and that was just freaky! I see enough of him at work!

I really do want to know if one of his thumbs is fatter than the other!

[identity profile] lordoflorien.livejournal.com 2004-03-29 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
You must have momentarily blacked out after I HIT YOU UPSIDE THE HEAD. *shakes head* Nitwit.

But in the actual scale of the Elijah pic you need to just scroll over to his eyes and stare a moment. Sean wasn't kidding! It's purdy.

You need to seek help.

His yes are perdy but the anthony thing is freaky!

Does it count that one of my best friends will be recieveng a pysic degree in May?

So you notice "Hey! Peter Jackson in slacks!" and I notice "Goodness woman, try a freggin' bra." Come on now, Liv.

[identity profile] lordoflorien.livejournal.com 2004-03-29 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
See, someone else noticed Liv's nipple right off the bat too, but I honestly didn't think it was THAT bad. Noticable yes, but only because someone mentioned it beforehand.

PJ just amuses me so. Funny little furry hobbit man.

[identity profile] ladyelfstone.livejournal.com 2004-03-30 04:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I think that thin dress shows off way too much detail of it. That's supposed to be left to imagination.

[identity profile] lordoflorien.livejournal.com 2004-03-30 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
True, but I know when I'm really cold no matter WHAT I'm wearing, unless it's like a heavy sweater, it doesn't help with.. THAT.. problem. It always shows as bad as Liv's does. And if you notice everybody else's attire in comparison with hers, it was probably quite cold that day.

The real culprit is the darn wardrobe people! Grrr on them for dressing actresses in skimpy apparel for "sex appeal"!! *shakes fist*

[identity profile] ladyelfstone.livejournal.com 2004-03-31 03:24 pm (UTC)(link)
heh. I'm glad my headlights are so incredibly dim. :-p

[identity profile] lordoflorien.livejournal.com 2004-03-31 04:27 pm (UTC)(link)
ROTFLMFAOPIMP!!!!!!!!

You should be, buying a whole new wardrobe of clothes only to "out-grow" them in a week or so bites big time.

[identity profile] ladyelfstone.livejournal.com 2004-04-01 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL!
