Always look on the bright side of life *whistles*
Been absent because mom decided to finish painting the basement floor. Which means no computer accessibility. But it's really no big deal, as I'm boring and moody enough that no one missed anything anyway.
I'm really sick of all my favorite TV shows getting preempted by something. Really sick. And I missed the last two episodes of Knock First! AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS! Wednesday I was watching Mansfield Park while it was on and yesterday I was at JD & Sandy's getting beat up by the nephews. Ouch. Not the right time of month to have little boys purposely trying to inflict bodily harm upon your lower half. Merh. Whilst up in the wee hours a few nights ago I watched some lame movie called "Dungeons and Dragons." The fact that it was rated ONE star should have warned me, but I saw Jeremy Irons and Justin Whalin in the cast info, and then I recognized the pirate Pintel from PotC as some dwarf guy, so I watched it anyway. Actually, more like saw the first 1/2 hour and spent the rest of the movie in other rooms or doing inane things. Finally turned it off at about 15 minutes from the end. Comments: wth Marlon Wayans?
This weekend is going to be hell. Wrong time of the month to have to sit for 6 hours in an assembly hall in uncomfortable dress and shoes with only 1 lunch break and try NOT to fall asleep for both Saturday AND Sunday. I have to wake up at 5:30 tomorrow morning. WHAT? UNGODLY! NO! Some nights I don't even fall ASLEEP until then! Oh, this weekend is going to be hell. Absolute. I can't even wear my new dress because it's WHITE! DARN THE LUCK! I wait 5+ years to find a white dress that actually looks good on me, and now that I've finally got it I can't wear it. And I'm going to have to act nice to people when they come up to say hi. Because they will. And combining my normal social anxiety + paranoia + loathing of people with monthly issues will not make for a very congenial gabby. *bangs head on desk* Frell.
I have so much stuff to do today in preparation for this weekend. And I don't want to do any of it because, well, I hurt. And I don't want to have to try and wake up early tomorrow morning. And I don't want to have to stay in a motel tomorrow night. And, can I just please whine a little bit MORE while I'm at it?
Fnugh. At least it's an all new Touching Evil tonight.
