Todays Theme for the Day and a meme. Goodnight. *SNORE*
*blinks wearily* Oh my word. I'm so exhausted. I don't think I can even explain it to you. Except maybe that I'm really REALLY excited to slip on my comfy jammies and stretch out on the couch to watch 24 and Judging Amy. mmmm... rest. I have to call Liz and cancel tomorrow. Oh frell.
Today's Theme for the Day:
"It's never too late to become what you might have been."
More on this later.
(Stolen from literally EVERYBODY. I didn't answer anybody though, because I'm lazy and still on page skip=300. So if you want me to play, leave a comment and I'll do so)
Who approacheth the Bridge of Death must answer me these questions three, ere the other side they see.
Everyone who reads this needs to ask me 3 questions: no more, no less.
Ask anything you want. Then go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything.
Because you just HAVE to do a quiz with Monty Python tendencies.

1. What is your fave T.V. show at the moment?
Farscape. It will always dominate the top of my list. It will, shall, and henceforth always be Farscape. Best TV show I've ever seen in my life. But if you're looking for a RECENT TV show... hmmm... I like 24 and ER.
2. Would you ever consider jumping out of a plane?
Ha. Haha. Hahaha, yeah, THAT would happen. To quote Billy... well, technically I'm quoting Dom quoting Billy, "I tried to get him to go bungee jumping with me, you know, to sort of confront our fears [of heights], but Billy said 'No. I know I'm scared of heights and I'm comfortable with that fact. I don't have any desire to change it.' And that's just classic Billy! He knows who he is and he accepts it."
'course, if I was jumping out of a plane FOR Billy, yeah I might consider it. ;)
3. What size shoe do you wear?
8 1/2. I know you were hoping for that sexy 11 1/2 size foot, but I'm afraid I'm just not up to par with the hobbitses. ;)

2. What is the one thing about LotR that you can't stand?
3. If you could take any set piece from LotR what would it be?
Re: hmmm...
1. Where did your livejournal username come from?
Well it all started in a yahoo!groups mailing list I'm part of. Back in 2000 a bunch of us were talking about how much we were anticipating the LOTR movies and basically bouncing thoughts off one another; wondering if it would have this scene or that scene, etc. And my catch phrase sort of became "ALL SHALL LOVE ME AND DESPAIR!" because that's one of my favorite scenes in FotR. So since I said "ALL SHALL LOVE ME AND DESPAIR" all the time, people just started calling me "the all-powerful lord of Lothlorien." lol. Later I took a quiz on Which LOTR Character Are You? and got Galadriel as my answer. So when I joined up for livejournal I just decided to use my nickname at the time. Ta-daaaa, that's how I got lordoflorien. :)
2. What is the one thing about LotR that you can't stand?
Oooh, tough one to answer. I think there's a lot of little discrepancies in the movies that aggravate me quite a bit, but I think EVERY book fan has those. You know, aggravation over a changed scene or character, stuff like that. RotK was hard for me to watch because out of the three movies it was the furthest away from the original book text. But as for the books I don't really think there's anything about them I don't like. Though, when I was little Tom Bombadill scared the heck out of me. LOL.
3. If you could take any set piece from LotR what would it be?
Hmmm, does Billy Boyd count? No? Dang it. LOL. That is also a tough question to answer, because I practically worship WETA. Hmmmm lord, too much to choose from! Probably Minas Tirith, or Orthanc. Or the Tower of the Moon, which was AWESOME. They were all very cool. Don't even get me into costumes and props though... I'll be here all day trying to choose something! :P
Thanks for the great questions!

1) Favoritest favorite thing in the whole wide world (a book, a movie, a show, what?)
LOL! Funny question. Hmmm... I think if I had to choose anything I'd choose that very specific feeling you get only when doing certain things at certain times. Like drinking really cold, sweet tea when it's hot outside... it tastes SO much better than it does in the winter. Or standing in the sand at the beach on a really windy day with your arms stretched out and your eyes closed. And the wind keeps blowing heat in your face trying to knock you down while little beads of sand pelt at your calves and all you can hear are gulls squawking and waves rolling and crashing and ripping across the ocean. Or when you're at an outdoor concert and the music is so loud you can feel it pulsing through the soles of your feet and slapping hard into your face and chest, and the drum beat matches the rhythm of your heart beat; you just stand there and throw your head back and look at the moon and the stars in a dark royal blue sky while the wind blows each chord and note and melody away from the stage and into your nostrils, and it dances through your blood while your whole body trembles with the deep sweet vibration of music. Moments like that when you get that feeling that you can't otherwise express with words. I love that feeling. It's like everything's right with the world and you'll never be so happy as you are in that very moment, you wish you could freeze time and hold onto that moment forever.
2) Best day of your life?
Probably when I went to see The Dave Matthews Band in September of last year. I think it was the 6th or the 7th of the month. Because that night I experienced the above, and all I wanted to do was wrap myself around the hanging cold musical night and feel it roll in and out of me like we were one singular being forever. And I was with good people, there was lots of laughter, and though we were together all night I never felt tired at all. I actually don't think I've ever felt quite so alive as I did that one day.
3) One thing you've never done but really want to do.
Only one thing? I could list hundreds. Well... I've never written a book or a script, I think I'd really like to do that before I die. And I've never worked with the likes of Tim Burton or Danny Elfman or dozens of bright and talented actors and actresses, I think I'd also like to do that before I die. In fact, if I could do that, even just once, I don't think I'd begrudge it if I died right after.
Well, there you have it. Thanks for the questions. :)

Good is good is good is good. I'm starting to get a little sick. Don't confuse me. It doesn't agree with the drugs.
