Oh man. I'm screwed. Darn the way time flies!
Oh my god. It's today. It's the fourteenth. Of December. Of two-thousand-four. RotK:EE is officially out in stores. ... Holy mother...
I... really don't think I'm prepared for this day; neither financially nor mentally. *quickly determines whether or not I have $40 to blow* Frell. Maybe I shouldn't have bought Spider-man 2, Titan A.E., Shrek 2, Holes, All I Want (Try Seventeen), and Big Fish all within the last 8 days. ... Hey, everything save the first two were only $5! You can't beat that! And even Titan A.E. was just $5.50! Spider-man 2 was the only whole-priced thing I bought!
But even still. I'm scared. I'm nervous. I'm praying that Sean Astin knows what he's talking about. Sean, don't fail me now. As we've seemed to have a like mind on everything LotR related up to this point, including a mutual feeling of disappointment in Rotk, I hope that I share your love of the extended edition. I also hope that PJ hasn't hax0rd that all to hell since you last saw it as well.
While I was in NJ 2 weeks ago I saw an article in the newspaper my father was reading about the EE. I, of course, promptly ripped the paper from his hands and began reading with great joy. But of course that only lasted for one paragraph, for as soon as they began listing some of the deleted scenes I read part of the first line listed and threw the paper from me in disgust. So honestly? I have no clue what to expect. I'm just... terrified. But... I don't know. I just hope it really is as good as Sean says it is, because I enjoy agreeing with him on almost everything since he is by far the lesser adored of the four hobbits. *shakes fist at fangirls*
Frell. I really, really, really wasn't prepared for this day to come so fast. Really. REALLY.
*continues cursing to myself*

Argh... PJ, WHY did you have to be so obsessed with horror/blood/war? Because seriously. I could have done without that extra half hour of battle scenes for something more tangible... gah.
I still haven't bought the EE... *blushes*
