Johnny Carson died night before last. How very depressing. It seems like all the pioneers of comedy have died within the last year or two.

I... need to write. *picks up Josh Groban CD* Time to get into the right frame of mind.

It's officially been 9 days since I got sick. I am SO ready for this to be over now.

try being sick in another country where it's impossible to get dayquill.
and still suffering with a wet, tuberculosisian cough two weeks later.

you just need chocolate. chocolate makes the world go round (and lots o choklit for me to ate...)
i'll buy you some. and we can watch corny old johnny depp films. and live happily ever after.

The second sentence I can relate to. The cough, plus the excess of mucus that has to be forcibly removed from my nose, lungs, and corners of my eyes EVERY DAY. Because there's so much of it, it has to make use of every orifice to escape. And, the dry flaky skin around the nose and mouth area. And, the swollen, red sore underneath my right nostril that gets inflamed and bleeds every time I assail it anew with a tissue. And, the fact that my snot has been blood red for two days straight now. And, I could keep going.
Trust me, I freakin' relate.

The chocolate thing my niece took care of yesterday. Peanut M&Ms and Peanut butter cups. Consequentially, why do the serving-sized M&M packages you get in a bulk package taste better than the normal-sized packages at the checkout stand? It's an increasingly interesting anomaly I intend to research to it's fullest.
The old Johnny Depp movies thing, though, you have full permission to take care of. We should have a marathon some time of really great corny movies and pop popcorn and get junk food and have fun MST3k-ing everything. It would be great.
