A useless entry.

You know that feeling you get in the summer time? That unidentifiable summer twitch that makes your blood boil? At one point every winter I get that feeling. I don't know why, but I do. Well, since last Friday, I've had that feeling; That twitch. I've been doing all the things I normally only do in summer. It's weird. I mean, I've been listening to Sting, The Traveling Wilburs, The Proclaimers... all the summertime stuff that makes me think of the beach and drive-in movies and writing fiction about people sweltering in the heat. It's kinda a nice reprieve. But it's weird.

You know I love 24, but I've been wondering what the frell happened to the cast this season?! The only returning cast member is Jack, and for a brief stint, Chloe. Well tonight we have TONY!!!!!! YAY! ABOUT DAMN TIME YOU GOT YOUR BUTT ON THE SHOW, BOY! But still. The frell, 24? The. Frell.

Also, Gilmore Girls is steadily climbing the ranks of the Coolest TV Shows Ever (IMHO). Four episodes now--four--where they've mentioned LOTR. This show is the coolest. It rocks the casbah.

DUDE, DR. PEPPER HAS THE COOLEST NEW COMMERCIAL I'VE EVER SEEN. It's for Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper (an: Ooo. That sounds tasty. When did they come up with that?), and it's this chick on a date with this guy who's supposed to appear to be everyone's dream man---volunteers for a children's hospital, rich, humble, cute, yadda yadda. But, even though his conversation is totally enthralling, she gets completely sidetracked by her Dr. Pepper and SUDDENLY... EVERYTHING THE GUY SAYS SOUNDS LIKE MY FAVORITE SONG FROM THE MUPPET SHOW! You know, the "Hunuma hunuma" song? IT'S FREAKIN' AWESOME! AND THEN SHE LOOKS IN THE BACKGROUND, AND ALL THE OTHER PATRONS IN THE RESTAURANT ARE SINGING THE BACKUP!!! AAH MAN, IT WAS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN. I WOULD ***KILL*** TO FIND A VIDEO OF IT ON-LINE! Ah man. So freakin' funny. I laughed loudly and shouted, Strongbad-style, "THAT. WAS THE COOLEST. THING. I'VE EVER. SEEN!" My mom heard me two rooms over.

Aaaah, good times man. I seriously need me a copy of that commercial. "Hunuma-na!" "Na! Na-na-na! Na! Na! Na!" "HUNUMA-NA!!!!!!!!!"

That Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper is actually pretty good. My dad brought some home from the States on Friday.

My favorite sodas ever are Cherry Pepsi and Dr. Pepper. This just means they've found a way to combine the two, and added in some vanilla. I am insanely excited to find this somewhere and try some. :)
