Aah yes. "The Child." First episode of the second season wherein Geordi gets promoted to Chief Engineer, Riker grows facial hair, Gates McFadden leaves the show and we're first introduced to Dr. Pulaski, and Troi becomes mysteriously pregnant. Heh. A classic pivotal episode in the series. *shifty eyes* What? Oh, and by the way, Riker and Troi in this episode? SO MFEO!!!!! OMGOMGOMG!!!1!!!ONE!!!1

I can't help it if being a fangirl is fun. *shrug*

Oh, and "Conspiracy"? Flippin' best fight/death scenes EVER!!!! And the so-called special effects? OMG! This is definitely one of my favorite episodes. So damn cheesy. So awesomely sexy. Bahahahahaha.

ETA: BEST QUOTE EVER!!

Picard: Cease auto-destruct.
Computer: Does Riker concur?
Riker: Yes, indeed, I fully concur, whole-heartedly!
Computer: Auto-destruct disengaged.
Picard: A simple yes would have sufficed, Number One.
Riker: I didn't want to risk any misunderstanding.

i love star trek TNG, but don't feel i'm as a big a fan as you. lol! and if the darn things didn't cost so much on DVD, i'd own them! *sigh* and a quick question...i've been trying to figure this out...what does ETA stand for? thanks!

ETA = Edited To Add. It does have several meanings though, so you'll find that explanation doesn't always fit. But that's generally what it means in journal land.

Heeee I am a DIE HARD TNG fan... I used to watch them NEW as a little kid, and I still watch them to this day. My friend Em actually just came over Tuesday carting along presents for me: FOUR TNG ACTION FIGURES. Picard, Data (MY FAVORITE!), Worf, and Troi. They're all originals. I'm gonna keep them in their packaging. =D I'm so excited!!!!!
