There's something to be said about not doing anything for an entire day except lying on the couch watching movies, reading, and eating whatever I want (within the parameters of actually having the food stuffs in my kitchen to begin with, that is). This has been the most relaxing day I've had in... well, a very long time. I didn't sit at my computer once, or try to get a scrap of work done, or worry about any of my chores or responsibilities. I just relaxed. I really think I needed it, too. People assume that because I multi-task so well and I'm always at their disposal when they need me that I spend all my days like this, or that I'm lazy or unmotivated, or I waste away my life doing nothing. If only they knew. I haven't slowed down for a while, not even long enough to get sick, which I feel like my body's been trying to do for weeks upon weeks now, and for today only I just stood still and took in a deep breath. And forget you all, it felt good. Real good. Jammies are fun. I haven't had a Saturday like this since I was of the age that Saturday morning cartoons still appealed to me. Well... I should put an age to that, because if they still made cartoons like they used to, Saturday morning cartoons WOULD still appeal to me. Alas, poor Garfield, I knew thee well...

I really wish tomorrow wasn't just around the bend. *sigh* I bid thee farewell, my sweet reprieve...
