Whooo's in the fooorest stroooooolling, the biiiirrrds and the beeees sing...
Yesterday in Asheville there was this guy walking down the street with jet black hair slicked back in a faux pompadour, dark shades, a metallic maroon track jacket, blue jeans with the cuffs rolled up, and all black converse. I. wanted. to. give. him. a. hug. It was possibly the best outfit I'd ever seen, made even better by the fact that it seemed to fit him so well. Yay for the 50s. That spurred me into several squee-worthy fantasies, most of which involving a "Forever Young" type theme. Hehehe. God I love big cities.
That was my first time in Asheville and let me tell you what, I PINE TO LIVE THERE!! IT WAS PROBABLY THE COOLEST PLACE I'D EVER BEEN (at least in recent years)! SOOOO MUCH STUFF! JUST.. WITHTHE..IN...EEK...YAYE! Seriously, everything you can imagine was right there. I was in a constant state of squee over everything I saw. And what is more, I kept seeing places I want to take my friends when they come visit. I can't even count how many times I said to myself, "Ohh, I can't wait to take so-and-so here!" I seriously think I found the perfect place for everyone I've ever met in my life, regardless of whether or no we're good friends or not. There was just everything you could imagine there. I'm soooo excited! Everyone's going to have so much fun when they come visit! Now all I need are some actual visitors... hmm... a slight snag in my diabolical plan.
Oh, and there's kudzu. Yes, Kudzu grows WILD here! It's like the entire state of NC has been preparing for my arrival! MUAHAHAHAHAHA! I HAVE OFFICIALLY GATHERED EVERYTHING I NEED; NOW MY EVIL REIGN OF SUPER-VILLAINY CAN COMMENCE! FWAHAHAHAHAHA!!
*sniff* That is, if I ever feel so inclined.
THIS SHOW IS KILLING ME! Firstly, let me take the time to say how much I HATE Hiro. The kid is such a friggin' BRAT. I WANT TO KILL HIM! I don't CARE if he's in love for the first time, he's a rude, pompous little JERK and I want him to DIE. *breathe* No no, I'm good. I just can't STAND that kid.
Secondly, I hereby think that Ritsu is THE most hysterical zodiac member I have met thus far. omg. I adore her to bits. Especially the fact that they've apparently run out of female voice actors and, in a very Monty Python-esque move, have a dude mimicking a female voice for her character.
*watches another 5 minutes of episode 23*

Creepy, but still bloody hysterical. *shakes head* Okay, freakishly creepy. But still one of my favorite characters.
Third...ly...er....... THE END OF EPISODE 23 HAS ME VERY ANXIOUS! OMG. THIS SERIES IS NOT GOING TO END WELL, I CAN FEEL IT! Just the part about finding someone to share Jelly rolls with (heeee)... and the clips! of Yuki! and Kyo! And! AAAAUUGH! I've gone through it in my head: there are 3 episodes left and I've gone through every possible ending I can think of. There's just no way they can end this series that I wont hate! Just... withthe...andthe...in...eek...NOoOoOoO! I have very conflicted emotions here. On the one hand, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS SO BAD! On the other hand, I'm scared to find out because nothing can ruin a good series for me faster than one bad ending episode. *wrings hands*
Oh I see where they're trying to go with this... (No, I DIDN'T just watch the first 10 minutes of episode 24 because I HAVE NO CONVICTIONS, DAMN IT) [Apparently I wasn't as scared to find out as I thought] I still don't like it, though. Must.. find out.. what's up.. with my precious.. Kyo!
Hey look! Tohru! And awww, what a cute little girl Momiji is! BAA hahahaha!
*sniff* What? NO, I DIDN'T just look Fruits Basket up on imdb to see if any of the voice actors have pictures up! (None of the others do, curses!) Maybe I just wanted to see if they've been in anything else I might have seen!

I'm going back to obsessively stopping and playing ep. 24 now, because I can't commit to either finding out what happens or writing my own ending. Because I'm PATHETIC.
