SO...
As you all know, my computer hates me. It hates me so much in fact, that I think it wants to commit suicide just to show how much it despises me. (Yes, that makes sense)
Well tomorrow in the middle of my grand posting spree my computer started flipping out and eventually just froze up and crashed on me. By the time I got it all working again I only had enough time to see if I could recover all the documents I had been working on and mumble apologies to the people I was talking to before I had to jet, so that is what stopped my posting spree in its tracks.
On a brighter note, though, I did have a good time last night. I went to see Mr. Deeds with a small group of people and we had a blast. The movie is great--if you haven't seen it, I recommend it (it's best if you're an Adam Sandler fan to begin with, though). FUNNY. Very, very funny. "I think you are underestimating the sneakiness, sir." Just, go see it. ;)
Afterward, we all went over to Applebee's (where we met up with some other friends). As we were leaving the parking lot of the movie theater, David was moving things around in his van to fit everyone, and I have to say the members in my vehicle had never laughed so hard in our entire lives. The mighty "men" stood by and watched as Dave tried to move heavy equipment himself (quite unsuccessfully). Some particularly amusing quotes/inside jokes:
"How did you have it before?" -?
"Not like this!" -Dave
"Never have a man do what a woman can do right the first time!" -Sarah
"No, wait, don't let it drop to the ground!" -Dave
"Time to sweep the parking lot!" -Sarah
Heh. The imagery was the best though. lol. Anyway, we all stayed and chatted at Applebee's until about 10 or 10:30 I suppose (I met several new guys; very nice people too), I tormented Alicia because she was sitting next to an older guy (right after all the lights had gone low for some reason), talked to Alison Webber for a bit, and ate my first meal since 3pm.
After that, I stayed over at Sarah's house. It was unplanned, so I pretty much came with nothing, but I had a good time. We watched movies, I went through her HS yearbook (which was fun), and just pretty much hung out. Mom picked me up early because I had a Dr's appointment at 3pm and we rushed over there quick. Not much else happened today; I showered when I got home, went to my meeting, chatted with Ashley while I was there, came home & talked on-line for a bit, then laid down (my back was hurting) and watched TV for a couple hours and now ta-da! here I am. :P
I just got invited to come to a chat with some of my Farscapers, so I'm gonna stop this incredibly long post in its tracks. Oh, wait, one more thing...
