I have decided to do an all Farscape icon set again, mixing and matching my favorite Farscape icons. I've done this for two main reasons.
1) I am addicted to this show and it makes me feel all kinds of SQUEEE!
2) I want to promote this show as much as I possibly can.
The fans are not dealing with the cancellation of Farscape well, and EVERYONE has come to know this. And, quite frankly, a lot of non-Farscape fans are beginning to turn their heads and wonder just what this show is about and why we love it so much. SO... I figure by giving Farscape as much exposure in my own small way as I can, I can maybe start getting some new people interested in the show and get them to tune in when the new season begins in January.
After all, the whole reason for the cancellation was for the dip in ratings, and the writers, DK and Richard, think that if the ratings go up again there might be a chance to save Farscape.
SO ALL YA'LL OUT THERE! Go rent Farscape DVD's at your local video store (the first season just came out and it's awesome), and start reading up on the show. And ask me questions, 'cause I can go on and on about Farscape all day. =D And in January, maybe give it a go, would you? I guarantee you, it's one of the best new sci-fi shows out there today, and it'll blow you away.
So, from now until whenever I feel like it, I am using my Farscape icons. Ta-DA! Even though I like a lot of my new artsy icons. Which you all should Go Look At Anyway =D But I figure when I'm writing I can use my default picture anyway, because "Astronaut Bait" is very similar to Author's Fuel. lol.
