Yeah, so after having "Jaynestown" (Firefly ep) downloaded onto my computer for about 3 weeks now, I've finally decided to watch it. Oh the Wash and Simon goodness! The Good Doctor is absolutely endearing in this ep. And Kaylee got him to curse! Simon! There is nothing wrong with not cursing! Bad Kaylee! :P
Although seeing a large statue of Jayne standing in the middle of the town is quite amusing.
And Jer? I now know where you got that "This must be what going mad feels like" quote from. Heeee.
Wash: I think they captured him, though, you know. Captured his essence.
Kaylee: He looks sorta angry, don't he?
Wash: That's kinda what I meant...
And I love Book SO much.
Book: You don't fix faith, River. It fixes you.
AND! When they talk in another language when they're angry! It's almost reminiscent of Desi Arnez. It makes me all kinds of happy to see Wash all of a sudden shout out "Cha shing mae chow wa!" or whatever he's saying.
Wash: Man, they peck hard around here.
OMGA! And Jayne's Theme Song? POSSIBLY THE BEST SCENE FROM FIREFLY EVER. JUST... THE EXPRESSIONS ON EVERYONE'S FACES! SIMON! BWAAAAAAAAHAHA! AND WASH! OH! BEST THING EVER!!
Simon: No... THIS must be what going mad feels like...
Wash: We gotta go to the crappy town where I'M a hero!
BOOK WITH A FRO! BWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! ZOE! IS! THE! BEST! FEMALE! CHARACTER! EVER! WITH! THE! EXCEPTION! OF! AERYN! SHE ROCKS SO MUCH! I NEED TO MAKE A SOUND CLIP OF HER REACTION TO BOOK'S FRO NOW! EEEEEEEHEHE!
And! Kaylee and Simon! Drunk, no less! That must be the cutest thing I've ever seen! And Mal is such a sweetheart... well, sometimes.
Simon: She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster!

River: NO! Can't. Too much hair!

Zoe: *burst of giggles*
Book: Is THAT it?

Zoe: River, honey? He's putting the hair away now.
River: It doesn't matter. It'll still be there... waiting...
Okay, Wash drunk and Zoe looking at him disapprovingly is hysterical, endearing, sweet and incredibly cute all at once. He is SO FUNNY. I love him to pieces. And him and Zoe? Just... Yes.
Jayne: You guys rioted? On account of ME? ...My very own riot??
towns-person: I can't believe you're back.
Jayne (crying): How could I stay away? *hugs people close to him*
All the men on this show are so noble. Simon gets wailed on by this man because he wont rat out Jayne, though he and Jayne have never gotten along. Mal... well, Mal is ALWAYS noble. Giving back goods, taking care of those who have less than him before he does himself. Even Jayne has a bit of nobility running in him. When that boy took that bullet to save his life, just the look on his face showed what he was feeling. I like it. A lot, actually. But it just makes me wish men were actually like that. :P
And have I mentioned lately how much I love Simon? He's so prim and proper. I love that. The way he shows respect, even when he would rather not, makes me eeee. Because I am just that lame.
Well, that was a good ep. Now I get to watch last Friday's ep that I missed on account of Ashley's party (I'm still reeling, btw. She rocks so very much).
