Today's Theme For The Day...
It's a sad, sad day when out of 78 possible buddies, only ONE person is on-line.
I was flipping channels earlier and stopped to watch America's Funniest Videos for a bit, and almost died laughing at this guy who went camping. He had a mini-bar-b-q with him and it was filled with coals and burning away. The premise of the video segment was when bad things happen, there's always a good outcome. Well, the bad thing was that he caught himself on fire... on the crotch of his pants. He's jumping around, flames licking up his abdomen, and finally douses himself with water to put the flames out. Then the host of the show says "The good thing is the built-in sprinkler system worked." My mom got it before I did and started laughing hysterically. The soundless, out of breath laughter you only make when you're REALLY amused. It was fabulous.
[Edit: Also liked the one with the guy trying to break a HUGE icicle off of his roof. "Here, somebody hold my box of common sense!"]
Oh, and my favorite line from The Sum of All Fears is my Theme For the Day:
"People called Hitler crazy. Hitler wasn't crazy, he was stupid."
